Girls TA Head Coach
Callum is a versatile and accomplished hockey player and coach, with a wealth of experience spanning the international arena and top-tier club hockey. As a current Scotland Senior International and a key member of the Men’s 1st XI at Wimbledon, Callum is widely respected for both his playing ability and leadership on and off the field. With a passion for developing talent, Callum has built a reputation as a dedicated coach, helping athletes of all ages and abilities thrive in the sport.

Callum’s journey in field hockey began at the age of five, when the sport quickly became a passion. Over the years, he played for multiple clubs across the UK, continually honing his skills and developing a deep understanding of the game. Callum’s early exposure to a variety of clubs laid the foundation for what would become a successful playing career, as well as a natural progression into coaching.

International Career
As a current member of the Scotland Senior International squad, Callum has had the privilege of representing Team Scotland at major international events, including the Commonwealth Games and multiple European Championships. His experience at these prestigious tournaments has not only contributed to his personal growth as a player but also to his understanding of the international game, which has proven invaluable in coaching roles.
Throughout his international career, Callum has showcased exceptional skill, leadership, and a tireless work ethic, earning respect from teammates and opponents alike. This wealth of experience in high-pressure environments has also shaped his coaching philosophy, emphasizing resilience, teamwork, and adaptability.

In 2021, Callum joined Wimbledon, where he quickly became a key member of the Men’s 1st XI. Pending injuries, Callum continues to play for the club, competing at the highest level. Wimbledon’s rich hockey history and commitment to developing players align with his own values, making it an ideal place to continue both playing and coaching.
Since joining Wimbledon, Callum has been an integral part of the club's growth, both on the field and in coaching. He have coached all age groups, bringing his passion for hockey and wealth of experience to the development of players across the club. Currently, Callum is focused on assisting the Ladies 2nd XI in Division 1 South, where he work to ensure the team competes at the highest possible standard. Additionally, Callum runs the Girl’s Talent Academy at Wimbledon, identifying and nurturing young female talent in the sport.

As a coach, Callum is deeply committed to developing players not only in terms of technical ability but also in terms of mental strength and leadership. He are passionate about fostering a culture of hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship, ensuring players grow both as athletes and individuals. Callum believes that every player has the potential to achieve their goals with the right support, guidance, and mindset.
Through his role at Wimbledon, Callum has had a direct impact on the success of many athletes, helping them progress through various stages of their development and achieve success at both the regional and national levels.

Outside of hockey, Callum is a well-rounded individual with a wide range of interests. When not on the pitch or in the coaching role, he enjoy playing golf, cycling, and, perhaps most notably, cooking. Callum finds cooking a rewarding and creative outlet, often exploring new recipes and techniques to further refine this skill.
A lover of diverse activities, Callum balances the intensity of high-level sport with the relaxation and joy that comes from other pursuits. Whether it’s cycling through the countryside or experimenting in the kitchen, Callum is always looking to learn and grow in different areas of life.
